how to install ubuntu 9.10 with rhel5.5?

hello friends this is ranvir03,
i'm try to install ubuntu on rhel5.5 but not sucessfully run both os,
how to configur grub file?

Suppose you have installed rhel5 first then ubuntu.

Then login in ubuntu.

Do

Code:

sudo fdisk -l

Locate your centos5.5 partion(suppose it is /dev/sda5)

Then make the entry of that partition in /boot/grub/menu.lst

Note:You can also mount that centos5.5 partion and see the grub.conf to confirm

Ubuntu 9.10 uses Grub 2 and there is no menu.lst file. Take a look at this tutorial for Grub 2, it should have all the information you need:
