Smile How to install Solaris 10 X86 on VM with Static IP Address enabled

Hi,

First time I have installed the Solaris by disabling DHCP and I provided a static IP Address. But After that i am not able to ping any machine in my network from VM and other machines also not able to ping my VM.

So I have installed solaris 10 X86 in VM by enabling DHCP now. After that I have installed oracle 10g inside Solaris box.because of this DHCP enabled my IP address is dynamic.Every time it is taking new IP Address. So I am getting problem in my ODBC connectivity.

* I want to change my System IP Address as Static.
* My Host name is not fully qualified name.My host name is "MyHost".But I want to create the Host name as fully qualified name (Hostname+domain name) like "MyHost.internal.test.com".

Can anybody help me out to solve this issues ?
