Question how to install programs in kde


i using suse 10.1 and am wondering how to install programs

Use the YaST program. KDE Menu -> System -> Control Center (YaST) -> Software Icon -> Software Management Icon.

Also, consider scanning through the user manual. Either by clicking on the SuSE Help center, or by opening the pdf file on the first install disk.

Or use rpm to install your packages

rpm -ivh package_name.pkg

to install.
