how to install Mozilla firefox 3 on Acer Aspire 1 running linux linpus lite
 
I downloaded firefox 3 on my Acer aspire one compact notebook(model ZG5) running linux linpus lite.I opened the file with xarchiver,all the files are opened but don't know where to go from here to start the installation.

You should use yum instead of downloading the file.

Where do I type the line:su yum install firefox

danne123 was referring to a command line tool.

You'll have to open a terminal to do that command.

Ohhh, I forget to say: to open terminal press alt + F2 and there you write xfterm4 then write the command that I told you earlier.

I went to terminal and typed the command as highlighted in red

[root@localhost user]# yum install firefox3

After I typed the command this is what it showed :
fedora 100% |=========================| 2.1 kB 00:00
updates 100% |=========================| 2.6 kB 00:00
Setting up Install Process
Parsing package install arguments
No package firefox3 available.
Nothing to do
[root@localhost user]#
