how to install Matlab R14 on FC3

I just mounted Matlab R14 ISO files but I don't know how to install it.
In the documentation only windows installation is described.

Does matlab even run under Linux? You may need to try to use wine to run it if it doesn't, or invest in VMWare.

when i use wine i get the following message:
wine /media/hd/e/Setups/Setup.exe
wine: error while loading shared libraries: libwine.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I also used cedega but I couldn't install it using it

Hrmm ... I'm not really a wine guru, so I can't help too much, but can you do "locate libwine.so.1" to make sure that the file exists on your computer, If you installed wine in a nonstandard place you may need to update your LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable so that the linker "sees" the libraries.

Isn't Cedega for games? :/

ok... MATLAB will run for linux, but you need to have the appropriate copy for it to work. I tried to get it running under cxoffice/wine and it would run for about 20 secs and just crash... its completely unfeasible. If you get a windows copy working, please post it, I would love to know how. But I gave up on it. I suppose there is a reason that MathSoft makes a Linux version. Cheers!
