How to install linux-headers- ?

I'm new to linux.
I tried to install VMtools in a fc8 vm. But Im getting this error
"What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running kernel? [/usr/src/linux/include]"

I tried this
yum install linux-headers-

Output is

Setting up Install Process
Parsing package install arguments
No package linux-headers- available.
Nothing to do

Can anybody help me
Thanks in advance

yum install linux-headers-`uname -r`
Perhaps you also need build-essential
yum install build-essential
