How to Install Linux
 
I am new to linux world.tried to intall RedHat Linx 4.0 on latest dual core 64bit machine.But it did not dedect the device to boot from.please help how to install RedHat Linux on dual core machine.

I hope this is Fedora Core 4, and not RedHat 4.
I guess you need to change your boot options in your BIOS and set cdrom first.

Could be RedHat **Enterprise** 4........

Will the system boot from ANY CD?? If not, then you need to set the BIOS to boot from CD.
