How to install Linux *WITHOUT* a CD Drive in the computer?

So I after a couple hours of working at it and trying to figure out why I could't start Linux and install it I figured out that Windows auto hibernated 100% of the time unless you use the command prompt to disable it.

Now the only logical explanation to why I keep getting "cant mount /dev/loop0" or something like that is that Linux REQUIRES a CD drive to be in the computer... which I do not have.
I came to that conclusion since the only thing that has changed other than my mobo, CPU, and GPU is that I no longer have a CD Drive in my computer.

Any ideas?

That or Universal USB Installer is out of date now.

You should be able to boot Ubuntu from a USB stick just fine. Which image did you get that is causing the bug and how did you get it to USB?

The one from the Ubuntu website and Universal USB Installer or something like that from pendrivelinux.
Also tried Linux Mint (downloaded 2 ISO's neither worked).

glad it worked. I've been having problems with both unetboot and universal installer lately so went to using rufus
