Question How to install KDE file chooser in Opera?

Hey everyone

I'm running linux mint 15 cinnamon 64-bit and I'd like to know if there's a way of installing the KDE file chooser in Opera instead of using the regular GTK file dialog.
The KDE dialog seems to have the feature of previewing my images whilst the GTKfilechooser shows only a list with small icons; it isn't very customizable at all.
Any responses would be much appreciated. Thank you.

This ought to work:

http://www.netrunner-os.com/firefox-kde/
https://launchpad.net/~blue-shell/+archive/firefox-kde

And this is kinda odd, but it's the link that Linux Mint provides (which points to an OpenSuSE project. Go figure).

Alright, I followed the installation instructions and downloaded the packages... But I think I'm missing something because it still doesn't show the KDE dialog in firefox whether the platform picker is on or off.

Thank you for the links though

You're welcome, but you mentioned Opera in your first post, and Firefox in your second. Is something going on between the two that I am not aware of?

What? You posted links for the firefox packages... didn't you? I didn't expect them to work with Opera so... is there something i'm missing here? Do these packages work with Opera too? Please tell me...

Also, I've tried just about anything to get firefox to use the KDE dialog, but no go, which is why i've made the switch to KDE.
But until GTK/Gnome sort out this extremely simple usability function that every file chooser should have I'll stick with KDE even though it's a little uncomfortable

Make sure that the app is running in KDE, open the cli app from within the program to display the file-selector.
Example: kdialog --getopenfilename /home
Opens the file-selector, starting in /home.

Might work, might not.
