How to install KDE 3.2 Window Decorations
 
Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone has had success installing KDE 3.2 Window Decorations. I have no clue how to do this. could someone please respond? thanks.

what, a theme?

kde-look.org

you can install/apply them through KDE's control panel

Wow, I wrote those wierdo posts about a year ago. I must've been in a bad and/or confused mood. I'm sorry for how I acted. Here's the thing. Kde-look.org is a HUGE waste of time when you want to find out info on how to install them, because they are in so many formats. I have since then figured everything out and wish to make things right by posting the url on my tutorial on how to install themes and such. Here's a tutorial for even beginners! Click Here for the TUtorial on the Knoppix Website.

untar the file, change into the extracted directory then do
Code:

$./configure --prefix=`kde-config --prefix`
$make
#make install

If the installation goes well, then do Kcontrol -> Appearance & Themes -> Window Decorations.
