It's difficult to catch on the showterm video as the beginning of the build process is quite quick but from what I managed to catch is that the very first output message is an error saying that it can't find the directories with profiles. That might be the reason. Make sure you download ALL files and directories required for building and installation. If you have problems downloading the profile.d directory, create it manually in your java dir and then download individual files into it.

Yes and it looks like the OP did not follow your good advice.

Yes I did exactly what you told me.I create directory profile.d in my home directory and move
jdk.sh, jdk.csh, jre.sh, and jre.csh to that directory and in my home directory I created java directory and it that directory I have java.SlackBuild,jdk-7u55-linux-i586.tar.gz,slack-desk.jdk,slack-desc.jre

I will remove the java package with pkgtool and from tmp and try to build it all over again.
Thank you guys for your help.

profile.d should be in the java directory, and the various .sh files in profile.d.

I build a package all over again,I downloaded all the files and directories and put various sh files in profile.d and profile.d in the java directories.

Now when I type which java I have the output:
/usr/lib/java/bin/java

Once again thank you guys for being very helpful and patient with me.
