how to install .init files?!?


I have a program called gearpro, however the install file is a GEARGUI.init file... how do i install this type of file? clicking it does nothing. sorry im a newb

also when i do ./GEARGUI.init i get this response

./GEARGUI.init: line 126: : command not found

To install the software please run the script 'install' in the root of the GEAR
PRO LINUX installation tree. This script will guide you through the
installation process. The installation script will automatical...
a quote from the gearpro manual. do ./install or sh install. that should work
