hey, had (have) the same issue as the other guy, and i've managed to get past the first two steps you've listed here, but i ran into one more issue.

when i goto install gcc C++, i get dependency issues.

Unresolved Requirements:
gcc-c++ requires libstdc++-dlevel

libstdc++-dlevel not available.

it doesn't say what version i would need, so what do i download?
