How to install fonts?

Hi there,
I need to install a font called "Gulim" onto my suse 8.2 KDE 3.1. I found a "gulim.ttc" file in my Windows fonts folder. Now how can I install this one?

In your home folder, there should be a hidden folder called .fonts
Put it in there. If there isn't a .fonts folder, make one.
