if you have fire fox look in tools abought plugins type in flash aid install it then run it
it does it for you

You might also want to consider replacing Linpus (which is dumbed-down and partially proprietary) with a better distro.

You might have to download then manually install the flash plugin. Once unzipped, the flash plugin should be copied to the mozilla plugins folder (normally /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins, but I'm not sure where it would be there with linpus)

No, that wont work. Linpus is a RPM distro, flashaid only works on ubuntu systems (though it now has 'debian and ubuntu systems' on the page, last time I tired it with debian it failed).

anyway he somehow managed to remove flash altogether, I have downloaded another one suitable for linux lite and Firefox browser but don't know a thing about how to install it.

1. open a terminal and navigate to the directory where install_flash_player_10_linux.tar.gz is kept.
2. type
Code:

tar zxvf install_flash_player_10_linux.tar.gz
3. Tar will create a directory where the driver is found. cd to that directory.
4. You should see a file called "libflashplayer.so"
5. Copy the file to where you place the FFx plugins. It's typically in a directory called /usr/lib/firefox/plugins
6. Restart FFx and you're done! ;)
ciao,
jdk
