How to install Desktop Manager In Linux Redhat 5
 
Dear All,
i was doing practice in my system and i was uninstalling some packages unfortunately i have uninstalled the Gnome and Kde. So when in reboot the system i got an error message like INIT: Id "x" respawning too fast: disabled 5 minutes then i changed the run level from 5 to 3. now the system is working in text mode only how can i make the GUI. Pls help me in this.

Spell out your words. And a brief bit of research leads you to "yum groupinstall "Desktop" "Desktop Platform"". This is listed in the RHEL knowledgebase. Also, unless you're PAYING for RHEL, yum may not work very well. If you're just practicing, load CentOS, which is nearly IDENTICAL to RHEL, but free.
