how to install anything in mandriva

can somebody tell me how to install application on mandriva

1. http://easyurpmi.zarb.org and add repositories.

2. Then start drakconf, enter root password and select the application in question under "Manage software".

3. Click on install.

Fire up your favorite browser and in address bar type http://easyurpmi.zarb.org/

Fill in the form and follow instructions on page how to add additional repositories (especially update sources and PLF - Penguin Liberation Front sources).

Start "Configure your computer" and click on "Manage software". In search field enter part of the application's name and click on "Search".

Check the box left of application's name and click on "Install". Wizard will offer to install missing dependencies, agree.

Of course, you will need (preferably broadband) working Internet connection.
