How to install and use winex


can someone guide me through, I did
cvs -dserver:cvs@cvs.transgaming.org:/cvsroot login
the password
cvs -z3 -dserver:cvs@cvs.transgaming.org:/cvsroot co winex
cd winex
./configure
make depend && make
make install
then I insert a diablo2 cd, type winex setup.exe but I got bash: winex: command not found

Well, it either didn't build, or didn't install. If "whereis winex" returns nothing then it didn't install. Were you root for "make install"?

JuneZ,

You'll save yourself a lot of trouble and hassle and pain if you just spend the $5/mo and get the precompiled binaries.
