How to install a USB mouse?

Hi, i'm really new with linux and i'd like to know how to install my IBM usb mouse for gentoo... I really apreciate any answers, thank you..

you should be able to configure it in you x*config.

thats pretty easy task...
i installed it on my laptop...

u need to just make some changes in /etc/xorg.conf..
but b4 that plz specify ur system configuration ie what r u using desktop/laptop..

anyway i posting a link...
study it and still got any prob... then post it here
