Hey Guys.

I have a dual boot setup with xp and the mandriva spring 2007 mini. I was wondering if anyone knows any really good guides to show the basics. I mean basic basics. I cant access anything, cant open a start menu, have no idea how to do anything. I have a favourtie applications menu but that has internet, terminal, help (which doesnt work), windows themes and log off. I have no idea about what to do. I would particuly like to now how to use all the commands.

Look in the installation disks for a user guide manual. It will highlight an number of applications and provide instructions on using them. It will also have a short introduction to common shell commands, like ls, mv, cp, etc.

Also, browse through the descriptions of the packages in the Mandriva Control Sections sofware installer. You may come up with some nice surprises like the blender3d package.
