how to give the permission to user to change his password
 
Hi
i want to give permission to a user to change his password. and he should not have rights to change other users passwords. how do i do it.

on my system a user can change his password with the 'passwd' command.

What do your users see when they try to change
their passwords? You may want to look at the man
page for chage ...
