How to get XRDP to work
I know, there are many, who have scepsis on XRDP. My simple reason to choose XRDP is: when I want to see something on my server while I am not at home, I'd like to use a program, which almost every computer I am seeing on a normal day, is having: MSTSC. No need to install other programs or using a webbrowser (that's a horrible solution!).
Now I have cleared that, I'd like to ask for help on the problem: I downloaded the RPM-package of XRDP (xrdp-0.4.0-1.el5.rf.i386.rpm on http://dag.wieers.com/rpm/packages/xrdp/) and installed it. And then what? No service called XRDP is running, nothing is listening on port 3389 - what do I have to do, after the package has been installed? I tried "abracadabra RUN", but that didn't do the trick (!)... Albert van Harten |
/usr/bin/xrdp

I found it: /usr/local/xrdp/xrdp_control.sh start
