How to get root login for graphics driver
 

Hi there i need Help! I dont speak very good english, but im really annoyed of that nvidia graphics driver! when i close xfree the driver says i have to login s root user but linux wont let me do that! It says login incorrect all the tima, but the login is correct! I tried the command login and then i typed in root for the user and the password. but login is incorrect! password is correct i need it to get into the kde configuration all the time!
Please help me

When you're logged in as normal user try:
Enter the root password then. It should work. Think that root logins are disabled by your distro or so that you can't login as root normally?

I dont really Know! I got Mandrake Linux 10 or something else. Me and my girlfriend (lol) are trying to change to linux... more difficult than i thought... and her too *g* thanks i will try that command
