How to get Lindows CD or Knoppix to work on a Windows PC

Just wondering, I have a Windows 98 computer in my office, and I tried running my copy of Lindows CD, but it won't work. What do I have to do?

Make sure that the bios is set to boot from cd before the HDD

Thanks, but I'm not sure how to do that, yet. I'm gonna try to learn, though. Sorry.

It's ok. When the system boots make it should say to press F2 or DEL (delete) to enter setup. Press whatever key it is then there is usually a section called "Advanced setup" in there there should be options to change the boot order. Just usethe arrow keys to navigate and usually press F10 or select a menu item to save and exit.
