how to get harddisk health information.


Hi All,

we have HP ProLiant DL360 G5 servers running suse , i tried to run hpacucli utility for checking harddisk health but it gives "no controller detected" error, so is there any other way to get information about harddisk health ?

What does HP support tell you?? Do you have the driver(s) you need for the controller/disk hardware loaded?? You could also try smartctl.
