how to get details of the installed fiber card


how to get details of the installed fiber card

I have installed 2 fc cards .I have attached FT-SAn to these cards , now when i see miltipath -ll output , it shows some path for the multipath , can you bfief from where these paths are taking the value . significance of each digit .

No, and without details no one can. What 'details' of the FC card are you looking for? Where are you looking? Version/distro of Linux? What kind of SAN? You mention multipathing...what kind of multpathing??

Best option would be to contact your SAN team/vendors, and get info from them. Normally, the drivers are provided by the SAN vendor, and if you're using Veritas or other volume-managment tools, that adds more software into the mix.
