How to get Creative Webcam running

I am a Linux newbie (been using Ubuntu Feisty for about 2 weeks). I have a creative labs webcam and do not know how to set it up. Would appreciate help . Thanks.

Hi frank002, Welcome to lq. Could we get a little more info on the device? Please post the output from the following command
/sbin/lspci -v
or if that returns nothing try one of theses
sudo lspci -v
lspci -v
I'm not sure what the path is in Ubuntu.
Is this device connected via usb? If so, please post the output from the following command
Be sure to exit su when done. Other than that it looks like some folks have drivers for some creative webcams. Have a look here.

Good luck. ;-)
