How to generate traffic file in new trace format, for wireless network in NS-2.34?

Hello,

I came to know there are two trace format types, i.e old and new trace formats.
I dont know how to check if it is old or new trace format.

Please if anybody can provide me a link to understand these trace formats it'll be a great help.

I'm going to use it to write awk script to compute throught, end to end delay and packet delivery ration, so need proper information about these trace files.

Thanks in advance.

Old http://nsnam.isi.edu/nsnam/index.php..._Trace_Formats
New http://nsnam.isi.edu/nsnam/index.php..._Trace_Formats

I think the old format was used before the eleven year old 2.1b9a.
So if it's pure ns-2.34, you shouldn't meet any "13 year old files".

I should have just googled for it, I was impatient so had asked it here :)
