How to format my linux drive back to fat32
how do i format all these linux partitions on my drive and get fat32 back
|
use fdisk, and you can fdisk /mbr to get rid of the boot loader if you have one... then you can boot using a windows disk of your choice and format from there.

once when I was attempting this I ran into problems with windows fdisk not recognising the linux partitions. So I would reccomend booting into linux (with a boot disk if you already killed lilo) and using linux's fdisk to remove all linux partitions, then reboot into win and setup the new fat partition and format

If you can get your hands on a copy of partition magic it will do what you want.
