Which Flavor? Which Ver.??

Its easier to use a Linux Bootable Disk & format your drive(s) using the same. (I am reffr. to my own exp. in RH versions)

Hope others/experts can help u further.

Hakeem.

According to the install instructions you need to create a linux partition. Down load the boot disk from ttp://www.toms.net/rb/
Which has the linux fdisk and mke2fs on it.

If you want to keep Windows 98 you will need to resize existing partitions.
