How to find the IP Address of my computer in Linux

Hi All,

I am new to Linux. Can anybody tell me the command to find the IP Address of the machine I am working on. In windows I, use the command "ipconfig" for this purpose, please tell the Linux command for this. I am using RedHat Enterprise Linux 3 server.

Also can someone tell me how to configure networking/internet setup under Linux.
