i am using mandrke 10.0.

how to find ram size and their type in command mode.

either 512 or 256. how to find??thanks.

And actually quite a few others. There is a nice utility to tell you all kinds of useless info about your memory called memtest86

sir i am meanning that total capacity of RAM.

i can see that in BIOS but how to find in within linux.

i mean either i am using 512MB or any other size RAM.
