Use chage command to list and activate expired user account in linux

chage - change user password expiry information

Please wait for OP to clarify his question.

I have read the man page & run it a couple of times; & I don't think chage is the answer: it needs a user name.

chage by itself only gives a short help.

chage -l root only gives info about the root acct.

i have seen three before this one today that are one line and VERY VERY vague
and the OP's have 1 post
i think we have a bot problem
