How to find currupted files from hard disk?

I have Ubuntu Linux in my laptop. I was browsing some file in my hard drive and I found lots of files which was currupted. So I want to search and repair them if it will otherwise I want to remove these from system and make the space free which is unnecessary used by these currupted files.

Please guide me that how can I make it possible?
