how to find all the cron job running in a server despites accounts

Im new admin who need to take care servers left by prev admin.
There are a lot of cronjobs running without knowing "which account", "when".. all we know is when the email generate it.

Now i need to search for a cron job that has been running and generating mail from that server but do not know from which account (not root, as i have checked it).
so, my question is, how to know the cronjobs running in a server despite running from whichever login?

It's be handy to know which distro & version you've got, but there are usually 3 places to look:

1. /etc
2. /etc/cron.d
3. /var/spool/cron

HTH
