Haven't used wine in awhile, but I thing you can also right click on the .exe file pick "Open with" and a sub menu will list wine.

Yeah i tried that & it says it's installing it but doesn't open it up or that so i'm totally confused lol i'm used to using windows & it automatically installs .exe files when you open it, i tried looking on other forums, they all say pretty much the same thing & i haven't had any luck

I do not have the barely idea on what that output means.
Anyway did you try to launch that exe file with "winefile"? It is a sort of explorer.
I have a windows game that I play under wine and if I start it by execute "wine a_windows_game.exe" it fails,
but it do works if I launch it with winefile.

Open the WINE config tool, go to the audio tab, uncheck ALSA and check OSS.

Kind regards

Take a look at the winehq website
http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManage...ation&iId=1304
However, why don't you use a file sharing program from linux, like gtk-gnutella
http://gtk-gnutella.sourceforge.net/en/?page=news
You don't need wine for filesharing

Kind regards
