i actually wana test if the same thing i did with fedora can be done again with suse.using ntldr to boot both.If there by any chance i may wana use it i will know how to configure.
but at suse installation setup,i am unable/or not so sure of how to select grub to be installed at the first 50mb/or first sector of /boot.(it doesnt seem to show this 50mb of free space in the partitioning part of installation). It seems that grub can only be installed at mbr by default and no other options.
(*perhaps i've left out something?I've tried to navigate to find it but unavailable)
Here is a brief example layout of my partitions again:
50mb free space(will like to install grub/suse linux here)
30gb windows xp
20gb free space (will like to install suse linux here)
20gb FAT32 for data
50gb NTFS for data
In fedora i am able to choose to install grub at the 50mb space.
I also assume like what u said both can be done with same procedure.Perhaps i'll try the installation again see how..
