Welcome to LQ!

Install x264
Basically you need to install all of Mplayer and the codecs provided. Use your distro's package manager.

If that is insufficient, then in ubuntu for example, you will need to add medibuntu repos to get proprietary codecs.
In fedora you must add rpmfusion.org to your repositiories

What Linux distribution are you using ?

you probably need to install ffmpeg, libx264, or another package that has that codec.. will be easier to tell once we know what you are running.

I have Fedora 14 and CODEC libx264 is already installed, but it doesn't work with TOTEM, is there any way to make it work with it, or is there any other package that works with TOTEM?

Thanks in advance for your valuable help!

Best regards,
Marco Rios

# yum install x264-devel

x264* is in the "rpmfusion-free-updates-testing repo"
http://rpmfusion.org/Configuration :
Code:
CentOS 5 :

su -c 'rpm -Uvh http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/el/updates/testing/5/i386/rpmfusion-free-release-5-0.1.noarch.rpm http://download1.rpmfusion.org/nonfree/el/updates/testing/5/i386/rpmfusion-nonfree-release-5-0.1.noarch.rpm'
