Unhappy how to document for amanda with ssh security

Hey all,
Can anyone provide me some document or how-to as i need that to compile and configure the amanda with ssh security option.I have to use the source tar balls.I am very new to this please help me people.

There is excellent documentation on the wiki at I have typically used the quick start guide Follow the links off that page for anything that you need more details on. For example, to get to the source compilation, follow the installation link in the first section and then follow those links to get the source and to get build instructions.

To configure Amanda to use ssh for transport, follow the directions here

Read through the details and then go back and follow them, making any appropriate changes for your environment.
