how to disable automount globally(via console no gnome!)? [debian/raspbmc]

i recently got a raspberry pi b+, slapped raspbmc on it, and love it, except for the automount, i have googled, and asked on the raspbmc forum, and debian reddit, and no luck.

all the answers im seeing are based off of gnome utilities, which i do not have installed, nor wish to install. i was suggested this
Code:
sudo mv /etc/udisks-glue.conf /etc/udisks-glue.conf.bak
which did not work either. i know i can put the noauto in fstab, but i want to just disable automount all together, and let fstab handle all mounting.
