How to delete incoming email using Kmail?
Hi all,
I am receiving abusive email quite regularly from a somewhat venomous individual, and for whatever reason, his ISP is refusing to help. I am experimenting with the filters in Kmail and have the system set up so his emails are sent to an empty folder, which I then delete. What I would really like is to delete his email immediately unread, but the existing filters don't really help me with this. Does anyone know what I can do to delete a message (by the way, sorry if there is an obvious solution to this, I am relatively new to Linux). With best wishes Paul |
I just send spam and other assorted unwanted items to the trash folder and have kmail set to delete the trash on exit, that way I never have to see them.

Thanks - I've now altered my filter to do this....what a shame there isn't a way to redirect a message straight to /dev/null
