How to create second network in two virtual hosts.

I'm practising with virtualisation.
Although in Vmbox it looks for me easy I'm in trouble when using RHEL virtualisation.
I have two guests in host. Per default there is NAT interface on both hosts which take network from guest dhcp. (BTW. There is no need to have ifcfg-ethX configuration for that? This is what I see at least).
They can see each other and also outside network with this NAT interfaces.
But now I would like to create second network on next interface. I tested with vibr, vinet and I'm lost. (Only second NAT with dhcp works for me).
When adding any of above interface type I see next ethX network interface. So I create ifcfg-ethX with static settings per interface on each guest host.
When I restart network I see configured ethX interfaces on both guests. And that's it. But they can't see each other.
Any help will be appreciated.

I usually run bridged mode, it might work out alot of the kinks you are getting.

I actually run a OpenVZ system with a couple guest OS installed and when I use the NAT aka venet, I sort of get the same problem, because the way my router is built, So I have to create a bridged device on my host node and create veth devices, so my router actually sees them.
