how to create partition of harddrive...

as i told, that my pc is running with fedora 10,and i couldnt make partitions of a harddrive, and i want to make 4 partitions as my harddisk is of 160GB means and i want to divide it into 4 (means 40GB of each part)....kindly guide me about this procedure...

Download a live CD, say Ubuntu, and burn and boot it. Use Gparted on it to check your disk, you may have to blow away your original partition or re-size it. Make your partitions and format them and you're done.
Then install whatever you want on them.
Note: You should be able to play about with Gparted for a while to get used to it before you commit to your new partition table.
