How to create link for catching steam games from steam website !!?
 
hi guys,
hopw you're doing well,

i've recently installed steam on debian wheezy :)

i'm using icewheaaasel web broswer

the problem is whenever i surf over steam website and want to install game, option asks me to do install but when i click to install it, it open up the new dialog box, asking me the locaation of steam.

that i dont know !!!

how can i solve this?

any help will be grear :)

Have you tried pointing it at the directory you installed Steam to? What happens if you do?

Quick question. Can you buy/install games through the steam client? Does the Steam client open and connect to your account?

After you installed the client did you run it at all? It does need to download and setup a few things first. Maybe you did not complete the install?

i installed it using Ghostsqad57's .deb file.....

i don't know the location i've installed it :(

Yes i'm able to perform all the tasks such as downloading games and istalling un listed games, i don't buy games :) via steam i just keep experimenting with it :)

i think i found the location but still not sure which file is used for launching the steam

this is probably the executable:
/usr/bin/steam-debian

on fedora i think its just steam

just for shiggles, please run steam then provide the output of:

ps auxw | grep steam
