How to create an email address for an existing user running under Fedora ?

Hello all,

I want to create one more email address for an existing user who is already with an email address under Fedora by using Sendmail. However, I have already edited the file "virtusertable" in /etc/mail and then "make" it. But I don't know what's the complete steps for doing this. Please help me as I am not familiar with Linux. Is it needed to set password, access rights something like these ?

I think what you're looking for is an alias; I recently read some Postfix pages (a replacement for Sendmail) and I think you can "add" more than one address for one user by adding aliases; that way, an email sent to the alias is "redirected" to the user. No need to configure extra options like passwords.
