How to control the interface to set VFD on/off
 
Hi ,

I am new to Linux. Can anyone pls help me to know the C program for controlling the interface to set VFD display on or off. Any programs on VFD display for reference will be helpfull.

Hi,

lcdproc is used to control LCD/VFD panels. Once you have the LCDd daemon running, you can connect to it via telnet (on port 13666) and send commands to the display (command description here) The lcdproc package comes with a few nice preset screens such as a Big Clock, you could use those.
