How to connect to the internet using my dsl external modem
 
I've just moved from 56k to dsl FINALLY but i dont know how to get to the internet in my other computer that is running on linux mandrake 10.0.

I will love someone to help me PLEASE because is beginig to give me headches and i have read some articles but it doesnt help me at all... so please linuxquestion.org pimp my brain with information!!!

We don't know. It is extremely unlikely someone can advise you without knowing what modem you have there. I'd say even it is impossible. :(
Different modems require different handling. Some have PPPoE built in, some don't. Some have built-in routers and NAT. Some work over USB, some over ethernet. And so on.

my modem is a paradyne i dont know what model is because its a super number, erm... my connection is dhcp, i connect threw the cat5e ethernet cable...
