how to connect to sqlplus from my linux box in my windows 7 using bash script??

hello folks

can any one help me please , i had windows7 on my mechine with installations of both linux box and sqlplus in my mechine . i want to connect to my sqlplus and insert some records using bash scripting,so how how i can do that

any replys should be appriciated

I think maybe we need a little further information?

1. Is sqlplus installed on windows 7 or linux?

2. Is linux in a virtual machine?

3. Where is the database you are connecting to? (ie. on one of the machines already mentioned or on a server?)

After answering some of these, you would then need to show what you have done in an attempt to solve this problem and where you are stuck?

hello grail

sqlplus installed on windows 7 and linux is a virtual machine on windows7
both sqlplus and linux virtual machines are installed on windows7 in the same machine

You still did not advise where the database is you are connecting to.

Also, if no sqlplus on the linux machine then the bash script would not be able to use it.
