How to Connect the DCP-L2540DW Printer

I have a new printer - a DCP-L252540DW. The driver has been installed and the printer. I can not find the printer in the list given to hook the device up so that it works. Your suggestions and help would be most appreciated.

Welcome to LQ!

You show as using Ubuntu, but there is no further indication of your Linux install.
For your Brother device, you can find install details here.
If you click on the Before the installation link you will find:
Quote:

Pre-required Procedure (5)
Related distributions
Debian 64 bit version, Ubuntu 64 bit version
Related products/drivers
printer/PC-FAX drivers
Requirement
ia32-libs or lib32stdc++ is required to be installed.
The Brother printer drivers are 32bit only software, so you may need to add 32bit support to your Linux install.
I suggest following the CUPS driver install to double check your driver installation.
