How to connect playstore via a linux proxy on a wifi network
I am on an office LAN which connect to the internet via a linux proxy server.
We have installed wireless access points as well. We can connect with mobile devices, after specifying proxy settings we then can browse very well.
The problem is I cant log on to Google Playstore and Whatsapp.
Repeat for whatsapp, which seems to be a bit more port number hungry.
"WhatsApp messenger uses these ports: 5223, 5228, 4244, 5242 and 5222 "
"he WhatsApp application sends non-SSL data over SSL port 443."
I think somebody may have changed port numbers when Whatsapp got bought.
